The Hessian Film Prize in the documentary category went to The Other Side Of The River by director Antonia Kilian.
Film is about women struggling for their rights to a self-determined life in Syrian culture.
The winner receives 20,000 euros in prize money, all three nominees each receive 4,000 euros in nomination money.
The Other Side of the River is co-produced by Greenlit Productions and Merja Ritola.
The Other Side Of The River won also the international Competition Global Docs at DocsMX in Mexico.
