Director Inderjit Kaur Khalsa and producer Essi Haukkamaa took part of DocPoint Impact Day in May 2021, pitching Power of the People documentary to organisations in Finland. The aim was to find collaborators for a impact campaign which will start when the documentary is released.
The impact campaign is a vital tool to connect with the audience and spread awareness of the Power of the People documentary's themes.
Before the impact day, producer and director took part in a series of workshops organised by DocPoint Impact, where they attended training to develop an impact campaign for their film.
The pitching day was a success and a lot of good connections were made, and more news about the collaborations will be revealed in time.
