Greenlit Productions represented in the Nordic NEST initiative’s Kick-off at Filmfest Hamburg

Greenlit Production’s Merja Ritola is attending the Nordic NEST initiative’s Kick-off event taking place in Filmfest Hamburg Industry Days 29.9.-2.10. The NEST program, originated in Germany is now launching internationally for the first time. The MOIN Film Fund developed, already proven successful script development program is now co-operating also with the Five Nordics (Danish Film Institute, Finnish Film Foundation, Icelandic Film Centre, Norwegian Film Institute and Swedish Film Institute) in addition to the German Federal Film Board FFA.

The four-day Kick-off event is designed to producers that have produced and released at least two feature films or TV drama series including one international co-production. In the event the producers get to among other things explore the new paradigm of story development and participate to a co-creative session facilitated by one of Europe’s noted script development initiatives, Le Groupe Ouest. Sixty qualified producers (thirty from Germany and thirty from the Nordic countries) were selected to the Kick-off event through applications. From Finland, six producers were selected.
